Waiver Wire Remarks from Roster Cut Downs

Pre-Season Stretch Run – Notes & Interesting Waivers  – Remarks

Blair White activated from PUP list, been warning you all, watch out for this kid, he has a bond with Peyton for when they both end up on the field at the same time.   For the cost compared to where you have to draft Garcon, I will take White at the end of a draft any day over him.

Lonyae Miller, RB Dallas was released,  I thought he would stick, watch close to see if they try to sneak him on the practice squad.  If they do, he continues to be a dynasty sleeper IMO.  Also, if the Lions or another team like Denver grab him, make sure you keep notes on his activity.

The Packers waive Dimitri Nance, RB, don’t be surprised to see him picked up, if the situation is right he could end up with some value . . . Cardinals, Lions anyone.  Also waived drafted LB Ricky Elmore.

Important note – – Brandon Jackson has been placed on IR for the year by the Browns.

Larry Johnson’s comeback with the Dolphins ended after one nice effort in pre-season game 4

This one for Chris, Raiders waived Trent Edwards . . did the Niners call him yet.

The season ending injury to John Carlson helps Zach Miller’s value . . . . . a bit . . .

Washington waived Keiland Williams, another interesting RB deep prospect who bears watching his next home.  With the additional cutting of Evan Royster, Roy Helu looks like a very very safe mid range pick.

Thomas Clayton, RB Seattle gone, won’t pooch carries from Lynch.  The Hawks placed promising WR Deon Butler on the PUP list meaning he is out 6 weeks.

I am a little surprised that Pats rookie TE Lee Smith was waived.

Want to feel better about Mark Ingram owning the game, Chris Ivory has been placed on the PUP.

Andy Fantuz, WR Chicago was  waived.   My favorite candidate for a 2011 Canadian Breakout.

The Rams WR situation got a little clearer with the waiving of Donnie Avery, and the placement of Mark Clayton on the PUP list.

Giant LB alert, Phillip Dillard has been waived.  WATCH OUT SLEEPER GREG JONES

Kansas city TE Tony Moeaki has been placed on IR for the year, this is a help for what it is worth to D Bowe.  Leonard Pope is the current TE now at the top of the depth chart.

Eagles placed Brandon Graham on the PUP,  say hello to full time Jason Babin.  The Eagles also waived rookie Greg Lloyd, LB – let’s hope he catches on for the feel good story.

End the story about multi-talented Shawn Nelson, TE in Buffalo, he is waived.  Scott Chandler becomes the full time every down TE.

We had some hype for Shiloh Keo in Houston at safety, he did not make the cut.   WR Dorin Dickerson also got the ax.

Of course everyone talking about Rashad Jennings , RB , Jacksonville, out for the year.  You will see Deji Karim skyrocket up boards.  I warned you about Jennings!

LB prospect Ross Homan for the Vikings was also sent packing.

Delone Carter fans in Indy, D Rhodes has been suspended for the year the Colts waived  Javarris James.

As I have repeatedly warned about Cincy,  Keith Rivers out on the NFI list and out for 6 weeks.

As speculated as much as a month ago by my co-founder, Chris Mangan, Patriot WR  Brandon  Tate was shown the door.

I hated initially to see Dan LeFevour , QB get waived by the Bengals, but it might be the best thing for him.  Hopefully, he catches on with a good team to develop him.

Charger WR Vincent Brown fans take note, WR Seyi Ajirotutu has been waived.

Chester Taylor, RB was released by the Bears, he should find a new home within the week.

Blow to a super deep RB sleeper for Chris, NYG RB Charles Scott has been waived.

How quick RB’s fall from grace.  Marion Barber replaces Chester Taylor, it was 2 years ago and he was a Barbarian.

Want more convincing that Lance Kendricks is a lock for 50 targets?  The rams released sure handed TE Fendi Onobun.

A pure miss on draft day and a guy I liked for the story , Rams WR Mardy Gilyard has been waived.  Brandon Gibson, Danny Amendola and Mike Simms-Walker appear set as the top 3 Bradford targets.  Remember, we told you all about Gibson 2 weeks ago.

Joique Bell becomes a little more interesting in New Orleans.  Ivory to the PUP.
